Yesterday while my son was playing in his room, I decided to sneak myself a couple of waffles. (He had just eaten breakfast, so I didn't want him to start wanting waffles too...) I got them into the toaster and put the box back in the freezer, and a minute or so later he comes wandering in, looks at the toaster oven with a beaming smile, jump up and yells FUFEES! (waffles...) I know he could smell something, but he knew exactly what was in there the second he walked into the kitchen- we hardley ever have waffles to top it off! Today he was playing in the kitchen and I headed to the freezer, and instantly he exclaimed with a big grin "fufees!" !! How do kids know this stuff? HE cracks me up, you can't hide anything from him!

But I love to read other peoples stories!
A couple of weeks ago he was refusing to drink his milk, but if i put it in the fridge, he'd flip out... when he wasn't looking, I picked it up and headed for the fridge, and he caught me. I hid it behind my back, acting like I didn't have anything, and he laughed and walked away- only to whip his head around every couple of steps to make sure I wasn't trying to trick him! It took him about five minutes to walk from the kitchen to the living room where he was out of sight, and the second he heard the fridge close, he came running back! He had no proof of what I'd done, so he didn't "punish" me
