I was just looking up another hotel for next year's vacation :p on the Entertainment book site and noticed that the discount is supposed to be 50% of rack rate. I thought it was UP TO 50%. So why is my rate in May at RPR $110 instead of $100? The rate for May is $199.00 per night. The Holiday rate is $219 - which would be $110 at 1/2 off. I know I'm only talking about $10 a day but that's $50.00 total plus tax! Does anyone have an explanation for this? Should I call the Entertainment people or RPR to question this?

I don't know how they figure it but I questioned them on this last year and got nowhere. Both Hotel people and Entertainment people were not interested in my arguements. Basically, I was told that they could set the Entertainment rate at what they wanted and it was a great discount so what was I complaining about? Good Luck if you want to pursue it but don't get your hopes up!

Thanks, Debbie. Based on your experience I just won't worry about it! It seems to me they need to change their literature and web-site to say "Up to 50%" if that is truly the case though!
