I am traveling with my five year old son and 1 year old nephew as well as 6 adults, but we are focusing on the kids for dining, especially the 5 year-old. This is our first trip to disney. We are arriving after Christmas. We have the 1 ts per day dining package, so we plan snacks and counter service for the rest. We understand we are dining for experience and not always food.

day 1
afternoon arrival
tonys town square in the evening with plans to watch wishes

day 2
chef mickey's evening

day 3
hollywood and vine breakfast

day 4
rain forrest cafe animal kingdom lunch

day 5
t-rex cafe evening

day 6
ohana breakfast

any suggestions for a rookie?

If the kids really like the characters, maybe try Crystal Palace on Day 1 instead of Tony's? Just a thought, although I see you already have a couple of other buffets planned.

Tusker House for breakfast is great at Animal Kingdom, love the characters in their safari attire if you would prefer characters over Rainforest atmosphere, just a thought.
