Just wantedto get some feedback on our meal plans for June

The diners will be myself( eats anything that doesnt run away first), DD11(picky eater but is willingto at least try new stuff), and Mom ( beef allergies)

Day 1 Coral Reef dinner
Hoping to get a diver sign thanking mom for the surprise trip

Day 2 Chef Mickeys
We did the Norway Dinner last time at wanted to try this for dinner

Day 3 Boma
Never been to AKL and this sounded interesting

Day 4 Sci Fi or Prime Time for lunch
This is the meal i am most concerned about. I have heard bad reviews of both but i want i lunch with lots of "atmosphere"

Day 5 1900 Park Fair Breakfast
Thought this mightbe a nice way to end the vacation for the ladies

ANY help suggestions, or input is welcome

Thanks,

Grumpy

We have done Chef Mickeys, as long as you aren't expecting anything beyond your standard disney buffet you will be fine.
We have done both Prime Time and Sci Fi, my family preferred Sci Fi, they felt like there were more choices on the menu, the Prime Time menu is fairly limited. Both have excellant atmosphere, although Prime Time really depends on your server.
Those are the only ones we have tried that you listed, we have done the dinner at 1900, but never the breakfast. We loved the dinner.

I have also eaten at both 50's Prime Time and Sci Fi. I agree that the Sci Fi didn't have the best food I have ever had but it also wasn't the worst!

DS11 just loved the movies and sitting in the cars. Sometimes it is worth mediocre food just for the fun. We are going back this year, but for lunch not dinner.

That said, I didn't really care for Chef Mickey's at dinner, but we go there for breakfast every trip!

I went to Sci Fi last month and my food was good. I've had some not so wonderful food there but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. I've never had anything horrible that has turned me off. I think I had the club sandwhich last month. No frills but tasty.

Boma is one of my faves!! As is Chef Mickeys.

We ate at Primetime and thought the food was terrible.

The lady at the next table over had them send her food back because it was cold.

I ate at Coral Reef last time and loved it! As far as Chef Mickey's, out of 4 adults, not one of us liked the food! We are by no means picky eaters! It was the only meal that we were extremely disappointed in! I have heard the breakfast is much better. We also ate at Boma and loved it. I would suggest Le Cellier, it was proabably one of my favorite meals of my whole life. If you are looking to have a character meal, Liberty Tree Tavern was surprisingly very good! Thanksgiving dinner, you can't beat it!!!!!

The meals look great. In reageds to Sci-Fi vs Prime time. For lunch I would pick prime time personally, I dont think they hace as large a selection but I prefer their atmosphere. Sci-Fi is cool, with the themeing but I did not like sitting with my back to the rest of my fam. either is a good chice when it comes to a theme.

Never ate at Coral Reef or 1900 Park Fare.

Chef Mickey's is OK, nothing major special about it. Some good character interaction, but saw the same characters over and over before we saw Mickey.

Boma is good. I hear a lot of great reviews about the prime rib, so you definately have to try that. It's a bit ethnic-y, so be forewarned. I thought it was really good, but my boyfriend hated it. I think it all really depends on your tastes.

I would go with Prime-Time over Sci-Fi. I have never ate at Prime-Time, but I thought Sci-Fi was horrible. The food had no flavor.
