How do the spa day passes work?

I purchased 4 spa day passes for our 7 day cruise. I'm hoping that my husband will like the Rainforest room and so we'll go together twice. After we go together once, if it is not his thing then I will just have to make the sacrifice and go twice on my own. Lol. Here's what I'm wondering:

Do we need to specify who will be using them, and on what days?
Can we just take them with us to the spa, when we choose to go, and just redeem them at the time?
Can you call the spa to see how busy it is and then decide whether to go then or not?

You might have had to put names on them when you first bought them, but they won't hold you to those names if you want to switch it up. You don't have to specify ahead of time what day you want to use them. When you show up, you give them the paper passes that will be in your cabin when you board (or your Key to the World, if like us you lost one of the paper passes) and they will give you the wristband that accesses the RF room in exchange for your KTTW card. From that point on, you can use the RF room anytime you want that day. (I think it closes at 10:00 or maybe 10:30).

I didn't think of calling ahead to see if it is crowded. You probably could do that.

The passes are not attributed to any name when you buy them. I always go at 5:30 because I have second seating dinner at 8:15. It is really quiet then.
Do not go on sea days during the day as it will be very crowded. (Unless you go in the late afternoon/evening of course)
