How do the new magic hours work?

I will be going to Orlando for a week during the magic hour promo.... I was wondering if we stay on site on Sat( we arrive late) but not Sun night ( company is choosing hotel) will we have access to the Sunday park after hours? It would be worth the one day tickets and the hotel if it is doable!

Your Saturday night stay should cover both Saturday and Sunday EMH (so Sunday should be OK). They force you to get a 2 day UPH (which would cover the EMH both days) if you get a 1 night package, so the EMH shouldn't be any different with a room only reservation.
