How do the CM's find you at BOG?

We were at BOG this past spring and my mom has been wondering this since then. If you order/pay at the kiosk, how to the CM's know where you are sitting to bring you your food? It's a huge place, with multiple rooms. I thought maybe the Magic bands are used as locators, but I suppose there are folks without them, so probably that's not it.

Surely I can find the answer here.

When you order and pay you are given a plastic rose (about the size of a hockey puck) which is a tracker. You leave it on the table and that is how they know where to bring your food.

The rose is handed out to people that don't have a Magic Band. There are sensors in the tables that read the code from either the MB or the Rose.

Does make you wonder where else they are reading our MB's.

The key here is NEVER sit or stand by a dirty table. The minute you stop moving the kitchen plates your food and it gets loaded on cart for delivery. I've seen folks standing at a dirty table when their food arrives. Find clean table or make the person with the MB scanned or Rose keep walking around room, get the drinks etc.

When we went there for lunch the system didn't work and no one knew how to solve the problem and bring us our food. Took them 15 minutes once we found a CM to help and that itself took awhile.

That was a year ago so maybe they've improved but it wasn't a new place even then.

And the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley at Universal also has sensors in the table that registers which magic candle are on each table.

Same technology with sensors in the tables, just Disney already have bands that the tables can read.

So they told you that they are watching and waiting for you to sit down?

What about the people that are standing at a dirty table? And suddenly their food comes out. How does that happen?

My understanding is that they use your Magic Bands or the rose to find you.
