How do the character breakfasts work?

We are heading out on the Fantasy on April 23rd :) So excited!

Can someone tell me where/when character breakfasts happen? I've checked the past Navigators and can't find anything on them. I know we have to get tickets to them...but I'm trying to loosely plan our week and it'd be nice to know when I can expect these fun little experiences :)

You'll get better details about the actual event from someone who's actually gone to them. But a couple weeks ago they were in AP the first 3 mornings (I think). I know this because we went to EG fir breakfast, but they weren't serving because they were serving at character breakfast instead.

The royal court should be open every morning for breakfast - it won't be one or the other.

The character breakfasts are in the morning of a sea day on the Fantasy during Eastern Caribbean cruises. Not sure what they do on the western Caribb cruises. You may have a choice of times- like 8 am or 8:30, 8:45, etc. it is for sure the first 2 days and I'm not sure about the final sea day :) it's really cute for toddlers. Older kids might not be as impressed. The character interaction is quick- but we love and the price is right :)

No, it doesn't cost. The reference is pretty much "you get what you pay for". The characters make rounds of the tables for photos/autographs, but they don't hang around for much interaction, and some people are less than impressed with the breakfast itself.

From what I've read, they seat one section of the dining room first, start breakfast(with the characters coming to visit each table). Then, about 15 minutes later they start seating a second section of the room, allowing "flow" from one seating to the next with service and characters. And then a third section, and so on.
