How do silhouettes work now?

I've always wanted to get a silhouette done of my 3 kids. I was assuming they would be closed during covid because you'd obviously have to take a mask off to see the person's face.

But I saw videos of the cart open in Liberty Square and read they do it by looking at a photo.

So do you take a photo at home and just send it somehow to the cast member?

You show the photo on your phone and they do it from there

I saw a YouTuber say they would pick it up in an hour- maybe the cast member makes a sketch?

Since my child is under 2 (no mask), she sketched him right there and we walked away with ours. The people in front of us showed pictures on their phone and she did theirs while they waited, too.

It only takes a few minutes so I don't know why they would tell someone to come back later to pick it up? Plus you'd miss getting to watch the artist do yours! That'd be a bummer.

thanks! I kind of like being able to show them a photo- might let my husband sit there with the artist and take the kids on a ride lol
