How do restaurants handle large parties on the DDP?

My question is there will be 9 of us (3 total in my group) dining. At the end of the meal, I know we need to figure out the gratuity, so how will I know what my portion should be? Can I ask for ours on one separate check?

If you request, they will give you separate checks.

There will be the auto gratuity of 18% for your group of 3 on your check (based on the menu value of the items that you ordered).

At all the Disney restaurants, as long as the party is six or more, there will be an automatic 18% gratuity added. This is done even if there are separate checks. The important thing to do is, at the start of the meal, let the server know there will be separate checks and who is on each one.
