How do reservations work now?

We haven't been to Disney World in 10 years! We're going July 9-13. Our window opens May 10. Is that at midnight on May 10? Can I make reservations for all my days on that first day of the window?

We have specific reservations that we want:

Crystal Palace breakfast
Chef Mickey dinner
O'Hana Dinner
Chefs de France lunch
Sci-FI Dine In lunch
Tusker House breakfast

I have no idea how popular any of these are or how hard it will be to get reservations. Any advice is welcome!

Online dining reservations open at 6 am eastern time. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can make dining reservations for the length of your stay (up to a max of 10 days) on the morning you booking window opens.

For your dates all of those very popular restaurants will be difficult to get. Not impossible, but be prepared.
