My DH and I are going on our first cruise in October and we are wondering how the port charges work? Does the ship charge them to a credit card? Do we actually pay at the port? And how much are they per person? We are just doing Nassau and CC and it will be just the two of us?
Thanks for all the help!!!:D

Hi
I was under the impression that the port charges are applied to your total price when you booked the cruise. (that's the way our was anyway) Which TA did you use to book the trip? My suggestion would be to check with your TA and see if the port charges were added to you total price for the trip. I think the port charges are$99 per person.

Thanks Cepmom for the info! I actually didn't use a TA. I booked online through DCL. I probably should have paid closer attention to what was included, but I was so excited about booking that I didn't check things very closely. :p I do appreciate the info. That gives me more money to spend on the ship!;)

The port charges are included in your total, and they vary depending on which cruise you're taking.
