How do new Magic Bands work with Cast Member entry??

I actually have two questions:

In the past, a Cast Member (who is a family member) got us into the park. Was a hopper pass, so we had a physical ticket that allowed us to hop from park to park for a day. With the new system (no tickets), any CMs know how this works and what is different?

Second question: We stay offsite. So with the new Fast Pass system, you can only get 3 FP to a park...but if you are park hopping, can you get 3 at one park and 3 at another? Realistically though, if you don't get to a second park until 2 or 3 PM, would all FP for the day be gone by then????

Just trying to figure out how these new changes will impact our past touring and ride accessibility.

You only get 3 FP selections a day at one park. What people are doing is getting to the morning park at RD and saving their FP's for the second park.

That is not good...on prior trips, we probably did 3 - 4 FP at our first park, then if we hopped early enough, still could get in 2 - 3 at another park....but we were not going during peak season when FP would be all given out by 2 PM....this new system won't suit our old touring plan well at all.

Can anyone weigh in on my CM question??

You won't have a Magic Band, each person that the CM admits to the park will have one of that CM's Guest Passes (hard plastic blue card, similar to the CM's Main Entrance Pass but say Guest Pass - still a physical ticket, just a different type of media) that will have to be returned to the CM at the end of the day. Doesn't matter if you are staying on-site or off, FP's will be "day of" and you will get them in the park at the FP kiosks that are throughout the parks.

3 FP's for one park per day only, not 3 for each park if "hopping".
