How do I use Treasure Detector magic?

i got a treasure pin from the event, but I don't know where to go

Put the pin on. Go To any room in vmk. Click the magic, and keep walking around until you find something. Don't stop walking!

Also do not walk out of a room or over ride track while doing the magic.
