How do I transfer tickets to a different MDE party?

I am transferring my tickets to a friend. Do we create a new MDE party? Does she add me to her MDE and then delete me after I transfer the tickets to her? (We are not traveling together.)

If you have your tickets linked to you in your own MDX account, you need to link your account to hers, or, her MDX to yours, and then reassign the tickets from you to her.

Silly questions, but how long before I can unlink our accounts?
