I like to think I'm not COMPLETELY Technologically challenged, but for some reason, ever since I bought my digital camera months ago, I've struggled with it.

I feel like I can't "see" my pictures once I take them, unless I review them on the screen on my camera.

Do you use the software that came with the camera? Do you download them directly to a website that will allow you to send "photo albums" to friends/family?

Please help! I'd appreciate any recommendations!

I always download my pictures from my camera to the computer. We have a card reader that reads the memory card from the camera. Our camera came with tons of different software. I just download the pictures to "shared pictures" in windows XP and it works great to organize them. I NEVER erase the memory card until I have copied the pictures to a CD...just in case the computer crashes and everything is lost.

To share just a couple of pictures with family/friends, I email them. To share an album, I upload my pictures to www.shutterfly.com . I also use shutterfly to print any pictures I want for the scrapbook or frames. To share pictures on the DIS, I use www.imagestation.com

HTH :)

thanks! I'll try Shutterfly.
