How do I Suprise My Kids?

I would love to find a place that sells the autograph books for the characters. Any suggestions?

I saw some kids wearing plain white baseball caps in the MK last summer that were autographed by the characters. I saw the hats in Walmart the other day pretty cheap. Since they have to wear hats anyway why not consider this instead of the books? Get a nice Sharpee to go with it.

Thanks for the ideas. We're thinking about doing this also for Christmas with our kids. I like the scavenger hunt idea and Disney Dollars will definitely be part of the package. Maybe a WDW for Kids book would be fun to include too, or if anyone you know will be going before Christmas, you could ask them to bring home some park Guides Maps which we included in our nephew's present last year knowing he was taking a trip in the spring.

Good luck everyone! princess:

I suprised my DS and DD last year by purchasing two small Disney carryon bags from the Disney Store and packing them with Disney t-shirts, movies, CDs, Airline Tickets etc. They both received Disney Dollars in their Stockings. Their grandparents (both sides) gave them more Disney dollars as well. They enjoyed it totally. It was perfect, plus they each has a their own carryon bag to take their own stuff in. Hope this idea helps.

I did the personalized sweatshirts for them this year. They don't know that we are going again.!!!!! SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we've got a Feb. trip planned and it will be a big part of DD and DS' Christmas.

I'm planning a scavenger hunt with little riddles that FORCE my often-bickering little ones to work together to figure out each clue - power is so wonderful! The plan is for DH and I to sit back Christmas morning and watch the chaos unsue as they tear our house apart looking for their prize!

I'm going to begin with the stockings but I haven't worked out all the details yet - I think I'll borrow your ideas about Disney Dollars, the t-shirts, and other Disney trinkets but I don't want any one hint to give it away....hmmm, time to do some thinking!

Oh, I wanted to mention about the t-shirts - you may wish to do your own - today's HP iron on transfers work great! I did 17 (count 'em! - SEVENTEEN!!!) shirts for all the kids in our recent group Disney Cruise. I used a picture of the ship (from online) for the front and typed "Mardi Gras on the Wonder" and on the back, I used a pic of Castaway Cay and listed all the children's names - the shirts were a huge hit - I did the large size so everyone could use as sleepshirts and beach cover ups. Anyway, just a thought - that way you could personalize with your own pics!

Keep the tips coming b/c I'm going to need lots of help with my scavenger hunt!
