I know this has been discussed before.   I thought I knew how to do it but it didn't work.  I had purchased airline tickets several weeks ago on Southwest's website and noticed that the fares are now lower.  When I typed in my confirmation number to apply the purchase price of the current reservations, I got a message that there was no money in that account (or something to that effect).  It doesn't make that much of a difference since only one way of the trip is cheaper (the other way is actually more expensive but it balances out to save about 40.00 round trip for our 5 total tickets) but I would like to know how to do this for future travel.  Any help would be appreciated.
