I have a question that seems complicated to me, so I hope I explain it well below.
Tomorrow is our 7-month window for our trip to GCV in May. We have GCV points and BWV points. We made this reservation at 11 months with GCV points. We have one measly BWV point in our 2009 UY (August) that will expire on July 31, 2010. I know it is only one stinky point, but I would like to try and salvage it if possible. We have a reservation for May using 2009 banked points, 2010 points, and a few 2011 borrowed points. If possible, I would like to reallocate one point - to use the BWV point and save a 2010 GCV point that I could still bank for future use.
1) Can I do this?
2) Is it easy or challenging to explain to MS?
3) Anything specific I need to ask/say?
Thanks! I know I am working myself up over one point, but I know I may want it some day.

Instead of using our ONE banked point, we used 67 points from the BWV contract and they gave us back the GCV points. Of course we still had the correct number of points left in our 2010 UY, but not the correct disbursement for the resorts. We use that 11-month booking window as much as possible, so I needed the points to be correct. I called this afternoon to work through this. It was a disaster trying to explain the issue - phones make things difficult. It ended up taking 30 minutes, but all is fixed. She said it "could have been" the new computer system. She finally had to get a manager to help fix the issue. Still, the CM that I worked with was curteous, friendly, and patient. I left a message for a manager that explained how great she was. I am thankful that she was able to work through the problem with me. I just hope that I never have to reallocate again!
