How do I prep my fridge/freezer for long distance moving??

Hi guys I have never done a long distance move so this evening I got to thinking about all the things I have to move, and the thought crossed my mind about what if the fridge/deep freezer would get mildew.

So, if someone can give me some tips I would like to know what I need to do to prep them.

You have to totally clean it out and leave it open for 48 hours prior to moving to make sure it does get mold.

Forgot to add, make sure that the refrigerator is not layed on its side, and that it is upright and secured to the wall of the truck.
