First, you need a website to host your photos. I use http://photobucket.com because it's free and easy! But there are other sites available as well.
After you've uploaded your photos to the internet, you need to find the URL of the specific photo you want to include in your post. If you use photobucket, the website will have a little box underneath each photo with this info, you can just copy that. Or you can also right click the photo that is uploaded to the web and go to the "Properties" tab, the URL will be listed on the "location" line.
Once you have your URL, the easiest way to insert your photo in your DIS post is to click on the "insert image" button while composing your post. It's the mountain and the sun/landscape icon at the top of the area where you type.
It will prompt you for the URL info of the photo you want to include in your post. And that should be it!
