How do I order magic bands?

It just occurred to me that I never chose magic bands and I guess that's because we don't have a package for the first time. I've been through MDE and my account at go Disney but no option for purchasing magic bands there. I ordered tickets which show up on MDE and we rented DVC points. I have no clue where my MBs from last year are (I'm a tosser so they're probably gone). Is this something I can handle before we arrive in less than 60 days?

Is the DVC reservation you rented linked to your MDE account? If not, link it. Once the room reservation is linked, a open MagicBand order will appear on the MagicBand & Cards page.

If the room reservation is linked and no open MB order is there, you will need to call Disney to get that fixed.

As for your old MagicBands, you should make them inactive since you no longer have them.

Thank you! Yes, the DVC is linked on MDE, I don't see anything about MBs. I'm on safari on my phone though. DS took my laptop back to college after the break because his fell out of bed. I'll wait til DH gets home and try with his computer. Thought maybe I'd need to purchase them since we don't have a package.

You definitely do not need a package to get MBs for free. Just a Disney Resort hotel stay. We have four free MBs each from four non-package hotel stays. Hopefully you'll find the page on DH's computer tonight!

Thank you! I've figured it out from my phone. I went ahead and did the online check-in. After I finished then I had the option to customize magic bands from the MDE which took me to the go Disney site in safari. All the others are there as well including cards from pre band trips. Thanks again for the help!
