How do I open an SXW file?

I have Windows office and I have a bunch of files that I am trying to get into and nothing will open them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They are OpenOffice text files. OpenOffice.org is an office suite and this file type relates to the word processor part of the suite. You would need to find a copy of OpenOffice to open it. (You can save it from OpenOffice into a Word Doc format, but you need to open it in OpenOffice first.) You can download the program free from http://OpenOffice.org.
