How do I make a tye dye Mickey head t-shirt? New Soda Ash ?

I have never made a tye dye T-shirt. I need step by step instructions.

That thread is perfect, just what I was looking for.

Does anyone know how many shirts you can do with a tye dye kit? I'll have to see if I can find one.

I always use the RIT dye you can get at walmart and that can make quite a few shirts.

I found some kits at Wal-mart. It doesn't say anything about Soda Ash in the package of instructions.

Should I just skip that Step when making the Mickey head T-shirts?
