it is sort of a frame of the center of the photo within the same photo, basically a pinstripe about an inch or so inside the edge of the photo with the outer edge slightly beveled and maybe blurred a bit. i think PoohJen might have asked for a similar frame a month or so ago for a photo from a child's baseball game but of course i can't find the thread so maybe it wasn't Pooh Jen, a baseball game or a frame who knows.:rotfl:
i thought i knew how to do it so didn't mark the thread and now of course can't figure it out and can't find it anywhere online under other photoshop stuff.
Thanks

yep that is the one so it was a jen but not pooh and fitxperry's photo but soccor and not baseball and a border but not a frame, no wonder i couldn't find it:rotfl:
thanks gulfbreeze for following my less than accurate clues:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You're welcome... don't suppose you're blond too are you :rotfl: Maybe that's why I knew what you were talking about :goodvibes

sometimes i'm blond, right now i'm more on the auburn side, but maybe i'll be blond again soon, however, the intellect never changes:rotfl2:

after i got that to work i did another one inside the first a little narrower and lighter and used the select inverse glaussian blur to make the outer edge more frameish...i couldn't figure out how to bevel the outer edge but i liked this effect ok. i'm doing a wikipedia type page on the office live wiki site( when i get around to it) and wanted some more "finished" looking photos for there

but not sure why some places the whole frame effect shows up then other times it looks partial?????????full size it looks like it's all there. also if i tried to crop it after i put in the lines it messed the lines up so guessing you need to crop to final size beforehand

Well that looks good...what program are you using? I've got Photo Impact Pro. don't know much about it, I've figured out how to do the selective coloring and that's about it. On the hair color...you could always go with a strawberry blonde...that way you'd have the best of both worlds:rotfl:

umm, since i just posted and forgot to hit submit i think i need to just stick with blond, the blonder the better,:rolleyes1
anyway, i used photoshop elements 5
