How do I help my DS understand (long)

I bought it....then I had a baby 3 week early. I forgot how crazy having a newborn can be. How did I go back to work at 6 weeks with DS? I feel like I don't have my feet under me at all yet.

ok, will read the book, lol.

thanks again for the support, we don't have a lot of other children (or parents) in our life so it is really comforting to know that other people go through it and that it'll pass!

I hear you. I don't often post personal problems on the DIS, but I really get a lot out of reading what others have to say - people have some great ideas around here.

Good luck to you, Allison! How is that little bundle of yours doing?

and some days I had to go close the blinds so he wouldnt see them:rolleyes1

Glad I'm not the only one who's done that! One reason I'm glad DS has the back bedroom is that he can't see if kids are still playing out front later than his bedtime! DD doesn't get as emotional about "missing out" on playing outside, so it doesn't matter that she has a front bedroom.

OK, behavior issues aside, why can't you go outside on your deck and watch him play with a baby monitor so you can still hear DD?
