How Do I Get to Universal From a Disney Resort?

We are going to WDW in December and staying at Ft. Wilderness in a cabin. We are flying in and although we are renting a golf cart for the week, I don't think they will let me highjack it and take it to Universal. Having 2 boys going to the new Harry Potter World is a must do this trip. My question is, how do I get there without a car? Any advice would be much appreciated! :wizard:

With four in your party, I think it might be cheaper to rent a car for one day. Some of the Down Town Disney hotels have car rental boths in the hotel lobby. I would look into something like that. Another way I think would be to call Mears and see if you can book with them. I do believe they do that...

I am sure someone on here will have a better answer for transportation if you don't want to rent a car....

When we went down in 2008, we took a cab to SeaWorld. It was my dh and I and our two girls. I don't remember what the exact cost was but it was pretty reasonable. We just walked right out of POR and they one for us. Less time consuming.

If you are buying one day tickets with access to both parks, your best bet is this deal, the transportation comes out as free. $109 adults/$99 kids, same price as if buying the tickets alone

mrzrich, thanks so much for posting that offer! I think it's a brilliant ploy on Universal's part!
