How do I get to Ohana's

from AKL? I'm thinkin' I need to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then the Monorail to the Poly? Is this right?

That would be the easiest way. Just make sure you hop on the resort line so you don't have to change trains at the TTC.

That's what we did from POFQ and it worked well! Just give yourself enough time to get there as the Poly was the 3rd stop on the monorail line.

Another option would be the bus to MK then the resort launch to the Poly. It's a small boat and only goes to the GF (1st stop) then the Poly. If the weather is good it's an easy ride and usually quicker than the monorail which often has to stop and wait coming into the CR for other trains to depart. I think the boat ride takes less than 10 minutes. We did this to return to the Poly after the Halloween PArty last year, lot less crowded than the monorail.

Ohana's was my family's favorite meal on our recent trip. It is now on our list of must do's. I'm sure next time we'll try to eat there at least twice!!!

I think I'll even stay at the Poly just to make eating there more convenient!

I didn't even think about the boat launch!! Oh that would be nice and then we could take the monorail to Epcot for the evening!! That's why I love you guys!!!

We did this in Oct. Allow plenty of time. It will take much more than you'll expect.

We have a 5:30 dinner reservation, I figured we leave the hotel around 4:00. The worst that can happen is that we will be early and will have to wander around the Poly for a little bit.

This the one combo of places to and from where we've had a problem. We did just as you suggest, going from AKL to Ohana. We left just over an hour, not near enough time. We took a bus from AKL to MK and then the monorail to Poly. We ended up being about 25 mins late. They seated us anyway, but I was WAY STRESSED!! Since then, if we are going to a MK area resturant from AKL we take a taxi to the resturant and disney transportation back. Much less stressful that way.
