I just book a breakfast for the last day we are there. there is 8 of us and we are staying at the Polynesian.

Do i need to get a Taxi?

You can do that or you can take the monorail or resort launch to MK, then take the bus to the Beach Club. I'd allow an hour or so for travel doing that.

When I made my ADR, the CM told me to take the busto MGM and then walk to the restaurant.
he also told me to NOT take a bus to Epcot, because you have to cross Epcot in order to reach BC, and depending on what time your ADR is, Epcot won't be open yet. And WS won't be open anyway.

I do wonder though how people from BC go to Epcot???

People from the BC and all the other EPCOT resorts walk to the park and enter through the International gateway, an entrance that comes in between France and the UK in the World Showcase. I would not recommend walking from MGM, it's probably close to a half mile, good 15-20 minute walk. From any park there should be buses running to the resorts I would think

Here is the thing.....allow at least an hour if using WDW transportation. You can take a bus to a park or downtown Disney and then a bus to Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club or Swan and Dolphin...all take you to the Boardwalk side of WDW where the Yacht and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin and Boardwalk Resorts are. So depending on which bus comes first, I would grab any of the three and get yourself to that side of WDW. Once there you can walk from Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin resort to the other side to get to Cape May which is located at the Beach Club..

If you take the bus to MGM, you can walk it, but it is a little walk, you can also take a boat but not sure if they will be open if you have an early adr..

You can also walk out your front door of the ceremonial house and grab a taxi, but with 8, it would be at least two taxis, I think.

One taxi will get you there. We have taken a cab from our hotel to other Disney hotel's before. It is easy and cheap! Just call bell service to have one waiting for you. Then you only need about 20 minutes.

Two years ago we used Dinsey transportation from WL to Beach Club for breakfast at Cape May and it took just about an hour. We took a bus from the WL to Epcot, went through Epcot, walked through World Showcase, and out the back to the path to Epcot. Just walking through took almost 20 minutes and we needed to use our ticket (park hopper) to get through Epcot. It was a lot of rushing and hastle for that time of the morning!

If you go to MGM you won't need to use a ticket to get in. Just get dropped off at MGM and follow the path to the Beach Club. It is about a 20 minute walk. I don't think a boat will be there to take you to the Beach Club at that time in the morning but you can check.

From Poly....

monorail to epcot and then a bus

or bus to downtown disney then a bus to either yacht or boardwalk or beach and walk.

monorail to magic kingdon then pick up a beach club bus

if you are in epcot that day, just walk

or do the taxi thing!

Thank you... seems like the Taxi would be the best (fastest)
Does anyone know if they charge per person?

This is the best way other than a cab. Just get off the monorail at MK and walk over to the bus area and jump on the bus for YC/BC. Taking a bus to DTD and transfering would take way too much time.

There is no bus from Epcot to the Beach Club. You walk out the International Gateway and then either take a boat or walk. Most folks walk.
The taxis do not charge per person, they charge per mile. It is not too expensive to take a taxi. I think you can go almost anywhere on property for $20 at most.
