How do I get to Boardwalk from POP Century?

Easiest way is to catch the Disney-MGM Studios bus from Pop Century. Once at the Studios, transfer to a boat (dock is off to the right as you face the park entrance) for the trip to Boardwalk.

I agree that the easiest way to go would be catching the bus to Studios. There you have the option to take either the Resort bus or the Friendship boat. The boat will stop at the Swan & Dolphin resorts, then the Yacht & Beach Club before reaching the Boardwalk... and then on to its final destination, Epcot. If you are looking for the more time-efficient route, I would take the Resort bus myself. The Friendship boats can be a little to slow for my taste at times :), but if you're looking for the scenic view, they can be a very enjoyable ride!

There is no bus from the Studios to the EPCOT resort area. Either take the boat (I'd get off at Swan/Dolphin and walk) or just walk.

:boat: The boats are a lovely way to go. Lewisc is absolutely right: you would be well-advised to take the MGM bus then make a quick transfer to the boat dock, getting off at the Swan (or stay on and see the lovely views of the Yacht & Beach Clubs and the Boardwalk). You can also walk the distance from MGM to BW; as I recall it is perhaps 3/4 of a mile.

What we do if we don;t feel like boating the whole round trip is get off at the Swolphin and then walk over to the Boardwalk. Short walk, not even 5 minutes.

To get back to PC, if the parks are still open you can reverse the trip and if not, then taxi is the way to go.

Have fun!

If it's after-hours, for the return trip I might hop a bus to DTD from any of the Boardwalk resorts and transfer there for a Pop-bound bus.:) (unless your dead-tired;) then cab it by all means!),

We did that DTD transfer once. It was late, around 10:30 or !1:00. We were staying at Dixie Landings then, it took us round trip almost an hour and a half to get back to our hotel. We waited quite awhile for the bus at the BW, then to get another bus at the Marketplace which then stopped at Pleasure Island and then back to the hotel. We took a taxi the next time. It was only around $10 and worth every penny!!

Are cabs always waiting outside the hotel properties, such as Pop and BW? What if you are only visiting a hotel for dinner -- can you still have guest relations call one for you for free? And about how long does it take for a cab to arrive? Just curious... Thanks!

We usually stay at the BWV or BCV. At both of these, taxis are right there. Sometimes they are parked out of sight a bit, but just go to the valet stand and they will call one over for you. All the taxi's on property are Checker cabs a division of Mears. Not sure about the value, but bell services will be happy to call a cab for you.
