How do I get rid of a rubbery smell?

Ok, let me explain. I really needed a dishwasher but had no space. I got rid of my seperate washing machine and dryer in favour of my much loved dishwasher and my washer/dryer. When i use the dryer it gives a horrible rubber smell. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of the smell?

I have had the same problem, I was hoping after I had used it a number of times that it would go away, but it didnt, so now I use a sheet of bounce in the drying, makes the clothes smell nice and gets rid of the rubber smell
