If you like it that's all that matters! Who cares where it comes from! My engagement ring came from Sears, wedding band from JcPenney. My chain that is on my neck every single day came from walmart. I'm not engaged, let alone married, but I have a few friends and family members who have gotten engaged over the past year. I never once asked them where their rings came from, and to me, it doesn't matter as long as they love their rings. I didn't even know people asked!

OP, that ring is beautiful! As others have said, as long as you love it, who cares where it came from? All that matters is you marrying the man you love.

In our case, my husband and I picked out the ring together, however, most of the time the "guy" just buys the ring and presents it to his girlfriend...hopefully...fiancé! If your boyfriend buys the ring, you won't know where it is from. Enjoy!

There seems to be some confusion because the ring is listed as an engagement ring. We are engaged and are getting married on Boxing Day. I am using it as my wedding ring because it is a sapphire and I like the way it looks. I did go ahead and order the ring today. I should have it in a weeks time.

If someone asked me that I would tell them, I got it at my wedding.

That's a beautiful ring. And I've been married 11 years and have never been asked where it came from.
And FWIW, I had a beautiful big wedding. And it was just a day. A beautiful day. But just a day. 11 years later, the marriage means more than the wedding itself. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have let my parents spend so much money. They didn't have a problem with it or anything, but I felt bad about it. I would have taken a longer honeymoon.
