How do I get in.....new opening show help!

I have a 8:20 reservation at cp on a 9am opening day at MK.

Total newbie so had researched how to get in before park opening.

Of course that is changed now ha ha.

So, how do we get to crystal palace on time? Is there a back way or do we have to push through everyone waiting for opening show on main street?

Reports are you can enter starting at 7:45, 7:50. Get there early.

Rope drop has a lot of peopel but not a hub and main street full amount of people. Even if they tweak around how morning adrs work, it's not going to be that crowded to get to it.

The crowd on Main Street isn't that bad. You make it sound like it's Main Street on NYE waiting for Wishes, and it really is not.

The opening show is on the castle stage which is beyond CP. If it feels crowded, you can walk all the way through the Emporium, exit at the last shop, take a left and you are at CP. If the same number of people who were watching the original opening show are now on Main St., it won't feel crowded at all, IMHO. And if they are huddled by the stage, the area around CP shouldn't really be crowded.

Depending on how far out your trip is it could be useful for tracking how the new show is impacting various things such as PPO ADRs, EMH, etc

I have no clue, I have never been. My understanding was that previously there was a separate entrance for adr while rope droppers waited at main entrance so I wondered how that has changed with a new opening process.
