How Do I Get A Pix In My Post?

I've gone to change Avitar, clicked on custom, used the browse button to use one from my files, it shows up in the box, but then never saves it. What am I doing wrong? I've got all the right radio buttons clicked to use Avitars...AHHH

Nope...well, it let's me change it and it let's me browse for a pix and it even puts the location of that pix in the browse box, but then it doesn't ever come up in my posts. And when I go back to edit again, it hasn't been saved.

Check the size, is it less than 50x50? Also, what kind of file is it?

Don't know the size...um it's in a folder in my c drive.
