How do I find out what time HS is opening?

With all of the schedule changes due to GE, how far in advance will I know what time HS is opening? We'll be there the weekend of and week after Easter, which right now says 9:00 AM opening...if they switch to 8:00 or even 7:00 AM is this announced at least the day before, or do they literally change it that day??

they can change it (or not) at any point. It can be a month, weeks or the day before. Check the official Disney website or app

I will be surprised if the times do not change for the week before and after Easter. I feel like in 2018 there was a least a little notice but I don't remember when exactly they changed.

They can, and sometimes do, make changes even the day before. But they do a fairly final update of the monthly calendar about 2 weeks before each new month.
so if February hours are final yet, they should be updating them in the next couple of days.

My DHS day (1/12) changed from 8 AM to 7 AM just a few days prior.

Since ROTR opened, has there even been a day where HS hasn’t opened at 7? Trying to anticipate for our upcoming Feb and March trips. Thanks!

No, only 6 or 7 so far. The first dates scheduled otherwise at the moment are 2/3+, which have a 9am opening. Lots of watchers looking to see if that ultimately changes or not.

If Disney changes hours at HS, does anyone know what time of day the change goes into affect? I want to set a calendar reminder every day at a certain time to check the calendar to try and score better fastpass options. i.e. does the calendar update go live at 7 am like fastpass openings do?

The recent (since RotR opened) sporadic DHS park hour updates have had no discernible pattern or timing to them, for better or worse.

Not an answer to the question but in a similar vein, a few years ago during one of my days at the MK, they announced around 6 pm that the park would not be closing at 8 as scheduled, but was staying open until 10 so we were all invited to remain after "Wishes" and continue to enjoy the magic. That's the one and only time I've every experienced that happening.
