How do I figure out the 60 day mark for FastPass+?

Just a little confusion about what day is actually my 60 day mark for making FastPass+ reservations. We will be checking in on July 24th. Does my window open at midnight on May 24th (23rd to 24th midnight) or May 25th (24th to 25th midnight)? Just depends on how you count back. Thanks!

There's only one way to count it. The day before your target date (day 0) is one day before, the day before that is 2 days before, the day before that is 3 days before, and so on...

You can make your reservations on May 25th.

So midnight of May 25th (between May 24 and 25th), Correct? Didn't see it on MDE. It just says 119 Days to go and personalize Magic Bands by June 23rd.
THANKS!

On MDE, Click on the locked FastPass button and it will tell you the exact date when you can make your FP selections. Remember that the day starts at Midnight Eastern Time, so plan accordingly.

DARN! Just looked at the calendar and that's Memorial Day. I have to be at work at 7am (and it's an hour drive). Guess I'll be pretty tired all day!

Also remember that if on the night of YOUR 60-day mark, if MK is open (regular hours) to 1AM, the FP+ reservations will not open until 1AM instead of Midnight.

(All times, Eastern zone.)

^ I actually DID know that from reading other posts! It's open till midnight on Sunday the 24th, so I'm still good to make selections at midnight (EST)?

If you are trying for all rides and not meet and greets or parades and fireworks, just get some sleep and do it when it is most convenient.

Mine is following a 1:00am closing at MK, so I plan to sleep from about 9:00-11:55pm (just in case I CAN book at 12:01 :)), then go back to bed after my FP+ adventure!

Maybe you could come up some maps or something. Weird FP booking windows are covered. :goodvibes

Ok, riddle me this:

My trip isn't until August 19th. However, when I log into MDE the Fastpass+ button is not locked. It lets me go in, select the 2 of us on the reservation, and has all of the days of April open for booking FP+ reservations. But we're not going to be there in April. :confused3

If your tickets were NOT bought as park of a RESORT PACKAGE, then you are free to make FP+ within the next 30 days (one-day-at-a-time) using your stand-alone tickets.

Of course you won't want to keep any that you make, but you can "play with the system" during this interim period.

On the stoke of midnight (or 1AM, as discussed) Eastern Time of your 60-days-before-resort-arrival your window to book FP+ will pop to 60 days in advance.

FP+ questions like these are answered (and FP+ Priorities listed) in the highly recommended, super-complete, often discussed, gotta love it, gargantuan juggernaut, constantly updated and refreshed by the DISboard's own mesaboy2... FP+ thread found HERE.
