How do I enter the Disneyworld parks with my kids

Hi all, obvious newbie question, but wanted to understand the park entrance process a bit better. I have been considering buying Magicbands for me and my 2 sons but I am now thinking it probably isn't worth the outlay. If we don't have Magicbands, how do my kids enter the parks? As I understand it for myself, I would tap my phone (obvs with app installed, tickets synced etc etc) and scan my fingerprint and in I go. But what about for my kids? Is it exactly the same process i.e. for son 1, I scan my phone, he scans his finger and then enters the park. For son 2 I scan my phone again, he scans his finger and enters and then I follow last? So is it all done multiple times off my phone, or do they need their own tickets, or is it just their fingerprint?

Yes you can use your phone for each person. However from what I've seen phones are more touchy and can take longer when you're using it for multple people.
I'd just get a physical ticket card for each if you don't want to spend a lot for Magicbands.

Never used my phone for entrance but have a card. You get it the first day you enter a park; think it’s one per guest including children. You can keep them in your wallet and just pull it out at entrance and ride turnstiles.

The way I feel about magic bands is simple: they used to be free and I’m not wasting funds paying for one or more .

I initially had my ticket and room key on my MagicBand, but it was an old one from many trips ago and was a little worse for wear. On day 3 the strap snapped but rather than shelling out for a new band, I just went to hotel reception (we'd checked in online so I hadn't been there before) and they gave me a plastic card that acted as my room key and ticket from then on. And as it fitted in my wallet I'd say it worked out more convenient for me and I couldn't easily forget it.
