How do I do book rooms for two families

We are planning a trip to WDW in June 2005. It will be my family and my sister's family. How do I go about booking rooms so that we can be close together. My sister would like to book hers on her credit card and I would like to have mine booked under my credit card. How do we do this and still request our rooms to be connecting or adjoining? Thanks for any advice.

It might be easier to put a deposit on 2 rooms with just 1 credit card, then at check in pay seperate if you are checking in at the same time.

When you make your reservations just book the two rooms and ask them to make a note on the reservation that you would like your rooms close together. If you don't pay the desposit while you are on the phone you have 10 days to do so. Both you and your sister can call with seperate credit card info to cover the deposits. This is what I did when I booked 3 rooms back in March. We had 3 familys going and each of us paid our own deposit.

I have booked 3 rooms through CRO which includes our family, DH's sister's family and their parents. I requested two connecting rooms and the third room to be adjacent or across the hall. When making the reservation, they want the names of everyone in each room and you get a separate reservation number for each room. The deposit is due within a few weeks, so I paid my deposit when making the res and had my inlaws call in separately to pay for their room deposit with their credit card.

I was told by CRO that when you make the reservation together like this, they automatically put you together, as opposed to everyone calling separately to book. But I'm not sure if this is always the case or whether it's because we were given a Grand Gathering number as well as our reservation number, since we have over 8 people in our group.
