How do I delete my alerts?

I have a bunch of alerts and I don't know how to delete them.
Any info on how to do this?

Do you not want to receive alerts? If so, then click on your username (upper right) and go to "Alert Preferences" to opt out.

If you still want to get them, I don't believe you can actually delete them. They do drop off after a couple of days. They don't stay there forever.

Thank you PrincessShmoo, let me ask you, if I opted out of receiving alerts would that mean I would no longer receive alerts via my email also?
I do like receiving email alerts when someone responds to a thread I have posted on or wanted to follow. It was just that I noticed that I have a lot of alerts in the upper right hand corner when I log onto the Disboards. If they eventually fall off then no big deal I guess.

Are you talking about the "Alerts" link in the upper right of the page? Or some other Alert?

Yes, exactly, the alerts link in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

In the old software, I think I could default alerts to daily reminders. I miss that.

I can only report that my alerts tend to drop off after about a day. You must have a lot of people reading your posts.
