How do I delete "friends" on Facebook?

There are a couple of people I would like to delete. I don't go to their pages and would really prefer they not have access to my info anymore. So, is it possible to delete people and if yes, how?

Yeah - go to your friends list and the people you wanna lose, you can choose delete - or there is an X, on the right, in their 'box'.
