How do I create lists on FB for friends?

Title pretty much says it all....can anyone give me easy directions on how to set up a list of "friends" that are specifically for applications? I just want to try and organize them a bit and would prefer they can't always see everything (like pictures of my kids) for the total strangers.

You clic on friends tab on top of your fb page and choose all friends and create list once you do that choose who goes on what lists. they can be on more than 1. I'm still trying to find spot to block certain listsw from seeing certain things ( ie pic) for ya.

You can also create lists from Privacy Settings (on the top right on FB page) then go through your Friends and assign them to the certain lists. From the Privacy Setting after you have assigned your friends to lists you can then pull up a friend and see how they see your page to make sure its what you wanted.

How do I add someone to my Limited Profile?
To add someone to your Limited Profile list, follow the steps below: ...
To add someone to your Limited Profile list, follow the steps below:
Select "All Friends" from the Friends drop-down menu.
Click on the "Limited Profile" Friend List in the left sidebar. If you do not see a "Limited Profile" friend list in this section, you can create one by clicking the "Make a New List" button and then naming the list.
Type your friend’s name into the "Add to List" field. You must be friends with a person to add him or her to the Limited Profile list.
To prevent users on this list from seeing certain content, please follow the steps below:
Click the "Privacy Settings" option in the Settings drop-down menu at the top of any Facebook page.
Go to the Profile section.
Select any Profile privacy setting and click "Edit Custom Settings."
Enter the name of your limited profile friend list in the "Except These People" section to restrict these users from viewing the profile content you selected.

I am at work and can't pull up FB to actually see but once you make a list name-- say Dis Friends. Then under your privacy settings it has things like who can see my pictures(or photo albums)- you should be able to click on the Everyone drop down and choose except 'Dis Friends' and so on for all the options.

OK-- I'm home now.

Under Privacy then Profile-- and the Basic tab- there should also be a Contact Information tab

On the Basic Tab- under Basic Info- go to Custom Settings. From here you can set who can see what for your Baisc Info and also set which List cannot see any of you Basic Info.

Then go down the list Personal Info, Status, etc.
