How do I copy and paste pictures?

I see pictures I want to copy and paste and cannot do it I tried to copy them but then when I go to post here paste isn't an option. What am I doing wrong?

Above the reply box there are some icons, the one that looks like it's a picture of mountains 'n a sun (3rd from the right) is the one you would use for insertin' a picture. It sez Please enter the url of your picture.
