How do I cancel Spirit's $9 fare club?

Hi all--

A few months ago, I signed up for Spirit's $9 fare club. My 3 month trial is almost up & I want to cancel it. In the reminder email I was sent, it says "If you would like to cancel your membership, please login to your FREE SPIRIT account and select the $9 Fare Club link to update your membership status." But I cannot find anywhere on my account page to change this status.

Can anyone tell me where I can cancel this membership on the website?? I would like to avoid a 2 hour phone call just to cancel.

Log on to the club and under the $9 club info you can cancel your membership.

While I'm sure your sources are correct, perhaps they are a bit outdated as I expected the phone to have marking in Hindi, not English.....

Wouldn't count on it. I think I have seen one or two threads total on Spirit over there. It's kind of a non-entity

If you can't find an option to cancel send them an email and then just file a credit card dispute when the charge shows up. Don't do this if you used a debit card.

It is true you log in and there is a place to cancel your membership if it's before the renewal date! Be sure you select a reason from the drop down menu though or it will not work.

Hi All,
I booked flights and chose to join the $9 club and was already charged $59.95. Now I learned that I don't enjoy the lower fares until the next booking. Question is, if I cancel the membership now, will I get an of the 59.95 back? I get the following message when I attempt canceling:

Are you sure you want to cancel your membership? You may cancel at any time but remember, membership fees are non-refundable. The cancellation takes effect immediately and you will be losing all the benefits of your membership.

Where did you read about a "free" trial? I see that there is a $19.95 two-month "trial" membership, and it renews at $69.95.

I think I saw an old posting but I was actually charged $59.95 (three weeks ago) so I wonder if they're going to refund $40 or not. I guess I have to call their customer service to find out.
