We are planning on our next trip in February 2013. I am waiting for the packages to open and plan on a 5 day park hopper pass. We will also be going on a multi-family orlando trip in June, ( staying offsite) and probably will do 4 park days. So in the effort of budgeting I am wondering if an annual pass would be a savings or if it is just as cheap to buy tickets in June. Thank you in advance!

Five day adult hopper = $325 (plus tax)
Four day hopper = $313
Total = $638.

Adult Annual Pass = $574. This makes it a no-brainer.

Also, with the AP you get free parking (which would be $14 per day if staying off-site). You will be eligible for merchandise discounts and also to purchase the Tables In Wonderland dining discount card (look in the Restaurants forum for more information on TiW).

Thanks! So if I have read correctly, I can purchase my package for February
( we usually wait for free dining) and when we arrive at parks get the upgrade to annual pass then?

Yes. Look at Post #7 of the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum. You can get there directly by the link in my signature.
