How Do I book Character Dining?

This is a newby silly question

Not only am I new to this forum but only coming up to my second trip to WDW

Having read about character dining I thought I'd give it a go. I fly this Saturday so I was prepared to call up and find everything was taken. I would have teken whatever they had going.

So, went onto the Disney website and got the details for calling to book this from the UK.

Everything was fine until they asked for a 10 digit telephone number. We called 4 times trying to A) understand and B) speak to someone.

I left without booking a thing as I couldn't figure out what I should have been doing.

So, any help? There are a lot of you out there who have made these reservations, what am I doing wrong? I'm staying in a private villa when I'm over there.

Any help would be great.

think you put in your number minus the 0 at beginning then you have to press the pound key think this is the one next to the 0 on right

There were two dining options left - both on the same day at different parks.

I've booked us in at Epcot for the Princess Story Meal.

I would have loved to do a breakfast, but given that I left it sooo late the only place that could fit the 5 of us was the 4.30pm - so rather an early tea.

I can't wait.

Will def do a breakfast the next time we go.

Also, it might be worth checking while you're there to see if there have been any cancellations, and you might be able to change you reservations / make additional ones.

I'll check on our first day to MK if they have had any cancellations.

Now I know about them I wanna do them all!!!
