How do I become a Castaway Cay member?

We sailed the Wonder in 2005. Does this automatically mean we are CC members? We are receiving these coconut mailers so maybe we are.... Are we supposed to have a "member number"?

We are booking another cruise in Dec. 2006. Does it matter if I've sailed with DVC before? Like maybe they will upgrade us 4 categories at no extra charge?

You belong to the Castaway Club after you have cruised with DCL one time. You don't get anything except the return gift which has been a beach towel and two pins in your cabin when you return. If you call DCL they will be able to look your number up. You will need that to make your spa, Palo, & kid's club resies online at the 90 day mark.

The return gift changes sometimes. We have gotten a nice beach blanket with our special itinerary on it and a very nice print of course along with the pins.

My son and I sailed March '05. We waited and waited for our "Castaway Club Package" and it never came. I called (twice actually) and was told that they would resend it to us. Well again it never came. I am really disappointed with the follow-up service that was given to us. I am pleased at least to say that our experience on the Cruise really out done our expectations and that is what we'll remember.

Hopefully other will have a better time with their Castaway Club stuff.

There are some other benefits, such as a special check in line (which was much shorter than the regular one on our last cruise) and an onboard party. Also, CC members can pre-book Palo and spa earlier.
