how do I ask for a design?

I have not been able to figure out how to ask someone to design something for me

Just post the request on the disigner's thread...if you are asking for a general design that you would like created or something you haven't really seen before, start your own thread with the request.

The Disigners are VERY friendly...this is the friendliest part of the Dis Boards. People will be more than willing to give your request a try.
