how Do I apply a CODE to my SW ressies?

I can see where I change the flights, but not to apply a code.. do I need to cancel and rebook or how does this work??

You can either cancel and rebook online or call and see if they can apply the code to your current reservations.

WELL.. Because of a wonderful Diser, I just saved $158.00 on my tickets!!!
Some people got codes in their emails for 20% off the airflight and some did not, I did not. Someone mentioned the other day in a post that they could not use theirs so I asked if they would mind giving it to me and they sent it to me right away!
I had to cancel my ressies and rebook but it gave me the option of refunding my credit card $55.00 and then using the 821.00 to go towards this flight, I did that and still have a credit of $103.00 to use for future use and I am going to see if they could send that back to me since I will not be using any airplane for a few years... worth a shot!

anyway that is the scoop! I would post and see if anyone has a code they won't be using or keep watching to see if people are offering.. worth it to me!

HMMM... do you think my credit could be transferred and then the person can pay me the credit if SW will not... just a passing thought... since it will go to waste if I don't get it back

Yes, the credit can be transferred to anyone you want.

you really lucked out

curious about this, called SWA RR number and asked about the 20% promotion, whether we could use it if we got a code but did not get the email

they said their understanding was that the code was targeted and "one time use only" and was tied to a rapid rewards # ( thus a particular person )

are you a rapid rewards member ?

if so maybe that was enough to "fool" their system when you entered the code

yes I am a RR member.. which is kind of funny cause the last time I flew was 12 years ago.. AND it was the 1st time on an airplane.. lol

AND.. I phoned back and got the money refunded to my CC today... I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!


That is $158.00 in savings for me!
