How do DIS points work?

If I get enough what do I win a prize?

Seriously, how many until you get banned, what can you get them for, is there a list somewhere? Is there an appeals process?

I have clean driving record and would like to keep a clean DIS record also.

Does my insurance go down if I stay point free?




I really do want to know as I think that this should be explained if it is going to be inforced.
