How do-able is this plan?

Planning a 6-night trip for DH and myself for January 2016. We are only going to the parks 3 days (we have 2 hoppers and a MK ticket each). Split stay AKV, BLT.

I am (unfortunately) not a daring person, so a lot of rides are not our priority this trip, since I don't think DH will want to go on many by himself.

One of the days we are staying at AKV, I'm thinking of getting to AK before opening. Priorities here are the Safari (maybe once at opening and then with FP+), Dinosaur, the trails, FoTLK. Maybe also 3-D Bugs and FoW. I'm thinking I don't really need to book FP+

I don't want to feel rushed to leave AK because I love this park, so I'm wondering how long to plan to be here on a "recommended" day. EPCOT, not "recommended" has evening EMH (9-11) this day, so I'm thinking we can "hop" there later for dinner and Illuminations, and possibly something without a long wait.

My question is, do you think we could fit a quick visit to HS in between AK and E this day? This would be the only time going to HS this trip. The only things I really care to do are the GMR (since I hear there are changes), Animation class, and TSM (can only get FP+ if I don't get one for a second Safari at AK). We went to DL/DCA in November (lots of drawing classes and rides on TSM), so I don't need to do anything except GMR, really. I do enjoy HS, but this isn't the trip that I care to really tour it.

So, from AK bus to HS and then walk to E (updated now that I know the transportation :) )

Is this too much for one day, or even worth it? Will I be missing anything else new in HS (haven't been since Jan. 2013)? On the day we plan to visit E, HS is not recommended. So we will be doing a full day at MK, and then a full day at E (with a hopper).

There are park > park buses. If you get a FP for GMR rather than use FPs in AK, you can save 30 minutes or more of waiting Standby.

You can easily get to all 3 parks that day. We usually hop back and forth between DHS and Epcot just as we hop between DL and DCA multiple times in one day. Have fun!

I think you could finish what you want to do at AK by 1-2pm, depending on if you see both shows and at what times you catch them. There are also direct buses between parks, so you can take a bus directly from AK to DHS. Get FP+ there for TSMM or GMR. (Or you can get advance FP+ for TSMM and 2 throwaways, then try to get GMR as a 4th.) Then you can walk to Epcot for dinner and evening EMH. Sounds like a fun day!

Thanks! :o After all my visits, I should know how to get from point A to point B by now! We don't usually hop, so I guess that's why.

I'm big on hopping...I think one day on our last trip we hit all 4 parks in one day...food/shopping/messing about after crushing AK in the morning. It's definitely do-able...especially if you're not trying to hit things like Everest and Tower of Terror.
